Dr. Asiri is a Cardiac Clinical Pharmacist and Head of Research and Staff development Unit in pharmacy services department at Prince Sultan Cardiac Center (PSCC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received his BS degree in Pharmacy Sciences in 2006 from Pharmacy College at King Saud University. He worked as inpatient pharmacist at PSCC from May 2007 to May 2010. In July of 2010 he established Patient Counseling Program in Pharmacy Services at PSCC and appointed as Patient Counseling supervisor in May 2014. He completed a 2-year General clinical pharmacy residency program from Saudi Commission of Health Specialist (SCHS) in 2014. In January 2017 he was appointed as Head of Research and Staff Development at PSCC Pharmacy Services. In 2018 he completed a 1-year Specialty residency program (fellowship) in Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy from SCHS. His research and clinical practice interests are focused on cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, patient counseling and medication adherence outcomes.
