Dr. Wang Tzu-Lin, known by his English name Alan, is a physician specializing in internal medicine and cardiology. He has played a pivotal role in establishing the Structural Heart Team at his hospital, where he demonstrates exceptional skill in performing various complex procedures, including TAVI, mitral clip, and left atrial appendage closure. Apart from his percutaneous intervention expertise, Alan is also a highly accomplished echocardiogram specialist and serves as a trainer for for cardiac ultrasound. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge has earned him a reputation as a prominent cardiologist, with a staggering monthly outpatient load of nearly a thousand cardiac patients, given the prevalent healthcare system and culture in Taiwan. He currently holds positions as a board member of the Taiwan Society of Echocardiography and is a member of the editorial and and education committee of the Taiwan Society of Interventional Cardiology.
