Biography
Dr Monika Radike (nee Arzanauskaite) MD PhD FRCR is a Consultant Radiologist. Her special clinical interests include cardiomyopathy, cardiac tumours, congenital and structural heart disease and parenchymal lung disease. She is an experienced supervisor and trainer, having led radiology training at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital Trust for over 6 years since 2017. As a result of her multisystem and multimodality background, she has developed multiple academic projects linking cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Her research interests include ischaemic heart disease and cardioprotection, cardiac tumours and congenital heart disease. Her translational research work was awarded by the Radiological Society of North America, PhD Cum Laude and an Extraordinary PhD Prize. She serves on several society board committees and has received multiple commendations for her educator roles, e.g. recent Rising Star awards (RSNA, 2024 and European School of Radiology, 2026).
