Miss Jo Evans

Jo is a Senior Cardiac Research Nurse with an MSc in Clinical Research Delivery. She began her career at Harefield Hospital and moved into cardiac research in 2010, building extensive expertise across cardiology, long‑term conditions, and multidisciplinary research settings. Jo has held senior leadership roles in both cardiac rehabilitation and clinical research and now contributes to a broad portfolio of cardiology studies. She keeps her research governance skills current through regular professional development and contributes nationally through publications and steering committee work for a new heart failure trial. Passionate about preventing cardiac disease, Jo is committed to empowering patients through personalised health promotion. Outside work, she enjoys time with her pets, the gym, Pilates, yoga, festival volunteering, live music, and learning Italian.
