Biography
Ioan-Alexandru Minciună, MD, PhD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist at the Clinical Rehabilitation Hospital in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is fully certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology by EHRA and is currently pursuing advanced training in cardiac pacing with emphasis on ICDs, CRTs and conduction system pacing. In 2023 he completed the EHRA Fellowship in Electrophysiology at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, gaining extensive experience in complex catheter ablation, advanced mapping technologies and robotic EP. His current clinical and research interests focus on complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, novel mapping technologies, substrate-based ablation strategies, including PFA, and conduction system pacing, with research presented at ESC Congresses and published in peer-reviewed journals.
