Dr. Mihaela Grecu is an electrophysiologist with special interest in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias in adult and pediatric patients. She is the now the head of Electrophysiology Department at Cardiovascular Disease Institute, Iasi, Romania, ERTC (2017). She completed her training in electrophysiology at Hospital Clinic Barcelona (ESC Training Fellowship 2000) and Hautepierre Hospital, Strasbourg (2001). Being fully EHRA accredited EP (2007, 2024) and CP (2009, 2024) she managed to build an EP program in her center, increasing the impact of ablation treatment of arrhythmias in Romania. She is an active member of the Arrhythmias Working Group of the Romanian Society of Cardiology (former secretary 2014-2017 and former president 2017-2020). She is an active member of EHRA committees: Women in EP (2013-2015), EHRA Training Fellowship (2015-2017), EHRA National Societies (2017-2020), ESC Membership (2018-2020), EHRA Selection Committee (2020-2024) and a fellow of ESC (2003).
