Doctor Melissa Bouchard

Dr Melissa Bouchard is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD), practising at Harrogate District Hospital and The Duchy Hospital. She graduated from the University of Manchester and completed subspecialty ACHD training at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. She holds a Master’s in Medical Education from University College London, awarded with Distinction, and is the founder of The ACHD Hive, an international educational platform promoting education and collaboration in ACHD. Dr Bouchard was elected to the British Cardiovascular Society Education Committee and is a Nucleus Member of the ESC Working Group on Adult Congenital Heart Disease. Her interests include ACHD, cardiovascular prevention, cardio-obstetrics and medical education. She is fluent in English and French and proficient in German.
