Biography
Dr. Subha Raman serves as system Vice President for Heart & Vascular Services and Chief Scientific Officer for OhioHealth. Dr Raman completed medical training in cardiology and graduate studies in electrical engineering focused on artificial intelligence and computer vision at the Ohio State University where she served on the faculty for 17 years and held the Joseph M Ryan Chair. Her tenure included development of nationally recognized clinical, research and training programs in cardiovascular MRI and CT. Over nearly 4 years at Indiana University and IU Health as the Medtronic-Zipes Chair, she developed the inaugural CV Institute for efficient and standardized clinical care across 17 hospitals while reinvigorating the Krannert Cardiovascular Research Center through new and productive collaborations. She has contributed more broadly via organizations such as the U.S. NIH, SCMR, AHA, and ESC.
