Biography
Dr Fardad Soltani is a Cardiology Specialty Trainee within the North West Deanery (United Kingdom), with subspecialty interests in heart failure and cross-sectional cardiac imaging (CMR and CT).
He has recently undertaken a PhD (viva pending) at the University of Manchester, focusing on Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF). His research integrated machine learning, genomics, and advanced cardiovascular imaging across large-scale datasets and prospective studies, including TRAITS-HFpEF, UK-HFpEF, UK Biobank, and the NIHR Health Informatics Collaborative.
He completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Manchester (BSc Hons and MBChB), followed by Foundation and Core Medical Training in the North West, UK. He was awarded a National Training Number in Cardiology in 2019.
