Doctor Zsofia Dora Drobni

Dr. Zsófia Drobni is a cardiologist and physician-scientist at Semmelweis University, where she leads the Onco-Cardiology Research Group, focusing on advanced multimodality imaging and the cardiovascular complications of cancer therapies. Dr. Drobni completed her medical degree and cardiology training at Semmelweis University, followed by advanced research training in cardiooncology and cardiovascular imaging at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. Her work focuses on improving the cardiovascular care of patients with cancer, with particular interest in immune checkpoint inhibitor–related cardiotoxicity, cancer-associated cachexia, and the application of advanced cardiac MRI and CT imaging in cardio-oncology. Dr. Drobni has authored numerous original and review papers, presented at major international conferences, and received several scientific awards, including the including the Junior Prima Award in Health Sciences.
