Biography
Ekaterini Lambrinou is a professor and the first elected academic staff at the Department of Nursing of the Cyprus University of Technology. Currently, she is the Dean of the School of Health Sciences of the Cyprus University of Technology.
She holds a PhD in Gerontology Nursing, a Master’s in Clinical Nursing and a BSc from the University of Athens. Her professional clinical experience was in intensive care units, mainly in the intensive care unit at the 1st Cardiology Department of Athens Medical School, Hippocration Hospital in Greece.Over the last 10 years she has been very involved within the activities of the European Society of Cardiology. She currently sits on the Board of the European Heart Failure Association (2012-16), (2022-24) and she has been the Chair of the Council of Cardiovascular Nurses and Allied Professions (2016-18).
