Professor Ekaterini Lambrinou

Professor of Nursing and ex-Dean of the School of Health Sciences at the Cyprus University of Technology. Director of the MSc Programme in Advanced Acute and Intensive Cardiology Care. Board member of the Heart Failure Association (HFA)(2012–2016). Chair and Vice-Chair of the Council on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions (CCNAP) (2014–2018). Inaugural Past-Chair of the Association of Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions (ACNAP)(2018–2020). Among her most significant achievements was leading the historic transition of CCNAP into ACNAP. Promoted European and transatlantic collaboration to strengthen the profession globallly. Co-editor of the ESC Textbook of Cardiovascular Nursing. Chapter co-author in the ESC Textbook of Heart Failure. Contributed to the first European curriculum for heart failure nurses and leaded the development of the updated European Society of Cardiology Curriculum for Heart Failure Nurses, a landmark collaboration between the HFA and ACNAP.
