Doctor Roslyn Prichard

Dr. Roslyn Prichard is a Nurse Academic specialising in cardiovascular health, with over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, research, and education. She is currently a lecturer in the School of Health at the University of the Sunshine Coast where she works closely with the Athena Swann Implementation committee aiming to improve gender equity and diversity outcomes across the university. Ros trained as a registered nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and went on to achieve specialisations in acute and cardiac care in Australia and the UK, before pursuing her PhD, where her dissertation focused on advanced interventions , cost effectiveness and patient reported outcomes in heart failure. She has published in peer-reviewed journals on topics including frailty and proxy reporting of quality of life in heart failure, tele and M Health. Dr Prichard loves getting out in nature as often as possible.
