Biography
Dr. Andreea Motoc is a cardiologist at the Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel (UZ Brussel) in Brussels, Belgium, specializing in advanced echocardiography, cardiomyopathies, and cardio-neurology. She earned her M.D. in 2014 from the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. In 2020, she completed her cardiology specialization through a combined training program at the University and Emergency Hospital of Bucharest and UZ Brussel. She subsequently earned her Ph.D. in 2022 from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Dr. Motoc currently integrates clinical practice, advanced cardiac imaging, and academic research. Within her department, she performs dedicated specialized consultations for cardiomyopathies and has established a specialized cardio-neurology consultation tailored for post-stroke cardiac follow-up and evaluation.
