Biography
Dr. Alasnag is the first woman interventional cardiologist in the Gulf region. She is currently the Director of the Catheterization Laboratory at King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital, Saudi Arabia. She serves on several councils including ACC Interventional Leadership, SCAI Board of Trustees & EAPCI Women's Steering Committee. Dr. Alasnag is an acitve member of the ESC Communications Committee and ESC Programme Committee. She is the regional PI for the MASTERDAPT Trial. Dr. Alasnag serves as an editorial board member for PCROnline, Open Heart BMJ, ACCEL, and Radcliffe Cardiology.
