Biography
Haitham Ballo is a cardiologist and postdoctoral fellow at the Heart Centre and Turku PET Centre, University of Turku, Finland. His research focuses on advanced cardiovascular imaging, with particular emphasis on PET and multimodality imaging in ischemic heart disease and cardiomyopathies.
He is a member of the Advanced Imaging in Heart Disease research group at the Turku PET Centre and Turku University Hospital, working under the supervision of Professors Antti Sarasti and Juhani Knuuti . He is a Fellow of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).
