Doctor Sara Habjan

She studied Medicine at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Parma (Italy) and graduated in the University of Ljubljana in 2010. During the last year of university, she spent 3 months at Texas Heart Institute (Houston) at the Department of cardiovascular surgery. Sara finished the internship in Internal medicine in 2015 and started a cardiology and vascular medicine fellowship in 2015. During this time she focused on echocardiography in the diagnostic and intraoperative area. Her field of interest is valvular heart disease and advanced echocardiography. She works as an attending cardiologist at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at the University Medical Centre in Ljubljana (Slovenia) and is a member of the Slovenian Society of Cardiology.
