Assistant Professor Hussien H Kassem

Dr. Hussien Heshmat is a Professor of Cardiology at Cairo University, holding fellowships with the American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He serves as a consultant interventional cardiologist in the UAE, with extensive experience in over 6000 interventional procedures. Dr. Heshmat's expertise lies in cardiovascular prevention, complex coronary interventions, peripheral vascular interventions, valvular interventions, and heart failure management. He has been recognized with four awards in interventional cardiology in Egypt and the UAE, and has contributed 50 international publications with 1000 citations. Currently, Dr. Heshmat also serves as the associate editor of the Egyptian Heart Journal.
