I was born on March 7th, 1986 in Split. I spent my childhood in Omiš where I finished elementary school and high school. I enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb in 2004 and graduated in July 2010. I started my specialization in cardiology in 2012, also at Sisters of Mercy. I passed the specialist exam in October 2017 and since then I have been working at the Department for Cardiovascular Medicine as a cardiology consultant. My area of expertise is arrhythmology and cardiac pacing. Since November 2017 I have been a fellow in the field of interventional electrophysiology, cardiac pacing and resynchronization therapy at the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland (mentor: Prof. C. Sticherling) and in 2018 I have passed an EHRA certification exam. In June 2017, I obtained academic degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in Biomedicine and Health, defending my PhD dissertation: "The effectiveness of cardiogoniometry in the prediction of stable coronary disease in women".
