Biography
Khaled Shelbaya is a senior research specialist at Alnas Hospital and an interventional cardiology fellow at the National Heart Institute of Egypt.
The research interest and areas of expertise of Khaled are acute cardiac care, cardiorenal continuum, Omics for drug discovery, and valvular heart disease.
Khaled graduated from Mansoura University then started his training at Emergency Hospital Mansoura University from 2009 till 2015 before being European Board Certified. In addition to his academic degrees in cardiology (Master and Ph.D. from Mansoura University), Khaled pursued a Master of Medical Science in Clinical Investigation from Harvard Medical School 2022. He received several awards including, International Award of the Genomic and Precision Medicine Council during the AHA 2023 Scientific Session, Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award during the AHA/EPI conference, and the best oral abstract presentation award at the 50th Cardio-Egypt Conference in 2023.
