I am Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Brest University and Head of Department of Respiratory Medicine at Brest University Hospital Center in Brest, France. My positions:- director of the research unit INSERM “U1304-GETBO”, dedicated to clinical research and basic science in VTE. - director of the French INvestigation Network On VTE (INNOVTE), a labellised F-CRIN network promoting translational clinical research and European clinical studies on VTE - associate director of the International Network of VENous Thromboembolism (INVENT). I am involved in clinical research on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, epidemiology and treatment of venous thromboembolism. He has been involved in many studies on VTE published in major journals, My expertise area on recurrence risk prediction and optimal duration and dose of anticoagulation in unprovoked VTE: NCT00740883, NCT03285438. Recently, I was granted for the “MORPHEUS” project - European call HORIZON-HLTH-2022-TOOL-11-01.
