Doctor Carlos Sanchez

Carlos Andrés Sánchez Vallejo is a physician trained at Universidad de los Andes, with postgraduate specialisation in Internal Medicine and Adult Cardiology from Universidad El Bosque, and an MSc in Epidemiology from Universidad de los Andes. From 2024, he is a scholarship-funded MSc student in Clinical Trials at the University of Oxford, supported by the Nuffield Department of Population Health. He is an analytically driven clinician committed to ethical, patient-centred, and evidence-based care. His academic expertise includes cardiovascular prevention, lipidology, and cardiovascular risk assessment, with publications in these areas. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and a member of the Colombian Society of Cardiology and the European Atherosclerosis Society. He speaks Spanish (native) and English (C1).
