Biography
I'm a board-certified cardiologist and electrophysiologist in Japan, with a career dedicated to the clinical practice and research of arrhythmias. After graduating from the University of Toyama Medical School, I specialized in cardiology, focusing on arrhythmias. In 2019, I pursued a PhD at Kanazawa University Graduate School of Medicine, where I conducted research on cardiac ion channels related to arrhythmias. After completing my PhD, I joined the Ellinor Lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard in October 2024 to expand my research into machine learning–driven studies of arrhythmias, under the mentorship of Dr. Patrick T. Ellinor and Dr. Shaan Khurshid.
