Fredrik Folke is a senior consultant at the Department of Cardiology at Copenhagen University Hospital Gentofte, Denmark. His primary clinical work is within echocardiography, medical rounds, as well as the ICU. Besides clinical work, Fredrik Folke is a Clinical Professor at Copenhagen University and Head of Research at Emergency Medical Services, Capital Region, Denmark. The main field of research is within out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, resuscitation, public access defibrillation, acute cardiac care, use of artificial intelligence and innovative technology in emergence patient care. Fredrik Folke has a broad experience within many research modalities including classical epidemiology, pharmaco-epidemiology, review studies and meta analyses, machine learning, intervention studies, in-silico trials, and randomized clinical trials. His focus has always been on translational research, aiming to implement research findings into daily clinical practice for the benefit of patients.
