Dr. Cícero de Campos Baldin is a cardiologist trained at the Institute of Cardiology of Rio Grande do Sul and holds a Master’s degree in Cardiology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He currently serves as Head of the Emergency Department at Hospital Mãe de Deus in Porto Alegre, Brazil, with a focus on acute cardiovascular care and emergency cardiology.
His clinical and research interests include syncope, chest pain, and acute dyspnea, with particular emphasis on risk stratification in the emergency setting. His research activities focus on the role of cardiovascular biomarkers in the prognostic evaluation of syncope.
Dr. Baldin is a member of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology and has a strong interest in improving the quality of care in cardiovascular emergencies through evidence-based approaches and clinical research. He speaks Portuguese and English. Outside his professional activities, he is engaged in swimming.
