Biography
Riccardo M. Inciardi is currently Assistant Professor and Consultant in Heart Failure and Echocardiography at the Division of Cardiology at the University Hospital of Brescia (Italy). He is Affiliated to Research at the Center for Heart Failure and Arrhythmia at the Karolinska Institutet (Sweden). Over the last few years, he obtained the PhD Degree in Clinical and Experimental Biomedical Science at the University of Verona (Italy) and completed the Research Cardiovascular Fellowship programme at the Brigham and Women`s Hospital and Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA). He has published >150 articles on top peer-reviewed journals. Major focus of his research is the epidemiology, diagnosis, management and prognosis of patients with heart failure integrating data on medical therapy, cardiac structure and function and biomarkers from randomized clinical trials and registry studies. He is currently Associate Editor of European Journal of Heart Failure.
