Biography
Martha Kyriakou is a lecturer in European University of Cyprus. She is a PhD holder in Cardiology Nursing from Cyprus University of Technology. Her Master is specified in Research Methodology for the University of East London. Her professional clinical experience was in intensive care units; in a Cardiosurgical Care Unit in the American Medical Center and in the Intensive Care Unit in Nicosia General Hospital. Dr Martha Kyriakou has been awarded from The European Society of Cardiology for her PhD thesis in order to collaborate with the Cambridge university in the development of her research protocol and has been one of the main researchers of the RCT ‘SupportHeart’. She is the Vise- President (2021-2023) of the working group of cardiac nursing of the Cyprus Society of Cardiology and the National representative in the Association of Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions (ACNAP).
