Doctor Andrea Baggiano

Since 2017, Dr Baggiano, Fellow of the ESC and Fellow of the EACVI, is working as a Cardiologist at Centro Cardiologico Monzino IRCCS, Milan, Italy, and since 2022 he's the Chief of CMR Unit at the same institution. He is an expert in clinical cardiology and CV imaging (TTE, CCT, CMR). He received EACVI TTE Certification in July 2018, EACVI CMR Level 3 Certification in December 2018 and EACVI CCT Level 3 Certification in May 2019. He was awarded with the 1st place award for Early Career Award at CMR 2018. He was also Finalist at YIA - Clinical Science at EuroEcho Imaging 2018. He completed a PhD in Translational Medicine at University of Milan in 2024, and in 2025 he obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Diseases. He has contributed to more than 200 scientific publications in international peer reviewed journals. Since December 2025 is serving as Chair of CMR Working Group of Italian Society of Cardiology.
