Doctor Georgios Rampidis

Dr Georgios Rampidis is a Cardiologist and Academic Scholar in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging at First Cardiology Department, AHEPA University Hospital of Thessaloniki. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at 2009 and has completed his postgraduate studies in Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the Department of Pharmacy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation. Currently, he is working toward the PhD degree in cardiovascular genetics. Dr Rampidis has been trained in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging (Cardiac SPECT, CT, PET, MRI, and Hybrid Imaging) at the prestigious University Hospital of Zurich. He has authored/co-authored numerous papers in conferences and peer-reviewed journals in the field of non-invasive cardiovascular imaging. He has also actively involved, as principal investigator or sub-investigator, in ongoing EU-funded research projects in the field of Cardiac CT.
