I am a 5th year senior cardiology fellow at the Gottsegen György Hungarian Institute of Cardiology in Hungary. I spent 2 years at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, Minnesota, USA, as an interventional cardiology research fellow under mentorship of interventional cardiologist, Emmanouil S. Brilakis MD, PhD. I finished my PhD studies at University of Szeged, Hungary in collaboration with the Minneapolis Heart Institute (Application of the Hybrid Approach to Chronic Total Coronary Occlusion Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, supervisor Imre Ungi, MD, PhD). As a voluntary interventional cardiology fellow, I have spent 6 months at Universitäts-Herzzentrum Bad Krozingen, University of Freiburg under the mentorship of interventional cardiologist, Kambis Mashayekhi MD. My major interests include percutaneous coronary intervention to complex coronary artery disease, chronic total occlusion, and cardiovascular imaging. Member of the EAPCI Young Investigators Comittee since 2020.
