Doctor Alejandro Jimenez Restrepo

Alejandro Jimenez Restrepo MD, FHRS, FRACP, is Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the Marshfield Clinic Health System. He is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He serves as associate editor for JACC Case reports and is the section editor for the Da Vinci Anatomy corner of the journal. He also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Arrhythmia. He is currently the lead for complex arrhythmias and EP research at Marshfield Medical Center and is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. His research interests include imaging for characterisation of substrates in atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, use of 3D printing to guide structural cardiac interventions and complex arrhythmia procedures and non invasive mapping and ablation of ventricular arrhythmias. He has numerous publications in peer review journals and textbooks in cardiac electrophysiology. He is also a cardiac anatomy illustrator.
