Dr Ricardo Fonseca is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research. He obtained his qualification as a medical doctor and surgeon in 2000 in Colombia and later, he got a specialisation in management of health care and social security. Ricardo finished his PhD at the University of Tasmania in 2017 and since then, has been working in the Blood Pressure Research Group at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research in Hobart. He is interested in the appropriate use of medical services (especially cardiovascular imaging) and its economic and clinical impact.
