Doctor Joao AGOSTINHO

João R. Agostinho, MD, is a clinical cardiologist and PhD researcher based in North Lisbon University Hospital Centre, Portugal. His primary areas of expertise include heart failure, cardiomyopathies, mainly, cardiac amyloidosis, and acute cardiac care. He is currently coordinating the Ambulatory Heart Failure Unit and the Cardiology Hereditary Amyloidosis Reference Centre and is the sub-coordinator of the CCU (UTIC-AC). He is actively involved in clinical trials and biomarker research, dedicating his career to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based cardiovascular care and academic research.
