Professor Tolga Sinan Guvenc

Prof. Tolga Sinan Güvenç is a cardiologist working at Memorial Göztepe Hospital since 2025. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and completed his residency at Dr. Siyami Ersek Hospital in 2011, followed by a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation at the University of Alberta in 2019. He has previously held academic positions at Istinye University, Kırklareli University, and Dr. Siyami Ersek Hospital, and served as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His clinical and research interests encompass heart failure, cardiac transplantation, LVADs, and pulmonary hypertension. He also specializes in advanced cardiac imaging (TEE, 3D echocardiography) and device implantation. He is a Fellow of the Heart Failure Association (FHFA) of the ESC, as well as a member of the Sigma Xi association.
