Doctor Silvia Oghina

Dr Silvia Oghina is a Cardiologist in the French Referral Centre for Cardiac Amyloidosis and hereditary or rare diseases (member of CardioGen Network) located in the department of Cardiology at Henri Mondor University Hospital, Creteil, France. She graduated as a Medical Doctor and Cardiologist from the Paris VI Sorbonne University. She has also received degree in non-invasive cardiac imaging. She spent part of her internship in the genetics department of Henri Mondor Hospital working on hereditary cardiomyopathy. Dr Oghina’s current areas of medical interest focus on cardiomyopathy. She runs the French Referral Centre for Cardiac Amyloidosis with Prof. Thibaud Damy. She is also a member of the hospital's Cardiogenetics Team and co-leads the multi-disciplinary consultation meeting. Dr Oghina is a member of the European Society of Cardiology, the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and the French Society of Cardiology.
