Biography
Dr. Itzhak Sharabi is a senior attending cardiologist specializing in clinical cardiology and echocardiography. He earned his medical degree from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University and completed his core cardiology fellowship at Wolfson Medical Center starting in June 2015.
He further distinguished his expertise by achieving European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) certifications in both adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), alongside holding an American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) instructor certification since January 2025.
Actively involved in medical education as a clinical tutor and instructor for students and residents affiliated with Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Sharabi focuses his clinical and research interests on advanced echocardiography modalities, strain imaging, 3D echocardiography, and Cardiac Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS).
