Biography
Dr Letsas received his medical degree in 1997 and completed his doctoral thesis at the Medical University of Ioannina in 2003. After serving his residency in Cardiology at Evangelismos General Hospital of Athens (Greece), he completed an advanced fellowship training program of EHRA in Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Herzzentrum, Bad Krozingen (Germany). He received the EHRA accreditation in 2008. He is now serving as a Dep. Director of the Arrhythmia Unit at Onassis Hospital in Athens (Greece). His main interests include catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death in the young. He is a member of the EHRA Certification Committee for the accreditation in Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Letsas has published more than 300 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
