Doctor Claudia Colombo

Dr. Claudia Colombo is a cardiologist and specialist in cardiovascular diseases at the "De Gasperis" Cardio Center of ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda in Milan. She graduated summa cum laude in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milano-Bicocca and completed her specialty training in Cardiovascular Diseases with top honours at the University of Padua, where she also gained extensive clinical experience in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Her training included an international fellowship at the Hôpital Henri Mondor in Paris (2018–2019). Her clinical practice is focused on cardiac intensive care, with expertise in the management of critically ill cardiac patients. Within this field, her primary research interest is the acute management of pulmonary embolism. Her work in this area contributes to advancing treatment strategies for one of the most challenging emergencies in cardiovascular medicine.
