Biography
Dr. Montisci graduated with MD from University of Cagliari, Italy, in 2009. He received training in cardiothoracic anaesthesia and intensive care at the San Raffaele Hospital, Milan, Italy, where he acquired expertise in the perioperative treatment of cardiac surgical patients, perioperative echocardiography, mechanical circulatory support and end-stage heart failure.
In 2015, he completed the postgraduate in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, and started his work as anaesthesiologist in the affiliated San Raffaele Hospital.
In 2016, Dr. Montisci moved to Sant’Ambrogio Cardiothoracic Center, where worked as Senior Consultant - Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
Since 2021, Dr. Montisci is staff physician of the Division of Cardiothoracic ICU of the Spedali Civili di Brescia, Italy.
His scientific and clinical activity is focused on cardiac intensive care and MCS. His academic contributions include 50 publications (H-index 11).
