Biography
Hyeon Chang Kim, MD, PhD, FAHA, is Professor of Preventive Medicine and Director of the Yonsei Institute for Digital Health at Yonsei University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. His research focuses on cardiovascular disease epidemiology, prevention, and population health. He has played major roles in several large-scale epidemiologic studies and international collaborations, including KMIC, KoGES, KURE, KSHAP, CMERC, and APCSC. Professor Kim serves as Editor-in-Chief of Epidemiology and Health (epiH). He is also a full member of the National Academy of Medicine of Korea (NAMOK), Director of External Relations of the Korean Society for Cardio-Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention (KSCP), Chair of the Hypertension Epidemiology Research Working Group of the Korean Society of Hypertension (KSH), and a Council Member of the International Society of Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Prevention (ISCEP).
