Biography
Alessandro Beneduce, MD, FESC, is an interventional cardiologist at the Heart Valve Center of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, Italy. He graduated from the University of Naples Federico II in 2014, completed his Cardiology Training in 2019 and Interventional Cardiology Master at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan in 2021. From 2022 to 2024, he completed an advanced fellowship in structural and coronary interventions at Clinique Pasteur in Toulouse, France.
His clinical and research activity focuses on structural heart interventions and valvular heart disease, including TAVI, TEER, TMVR and electrosurgery.
He served on the GISE Young Committee from 2020 to 2022 and the EAPCI Young Committee from 2022 to 2024, and is currently a member of the EAPCI Accreditation, Training and Certification Committee. He is an Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal - Valvular and Structural Heart Disease and author of more than 120 peer-reviewed publications.
