Doctor Saurabh Malhotra

Dr. Malhotra is the Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Cook County Health and Associate Professor of Medicine at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He is a multimodality imaging cardiologist, proficient in in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. Dr. Malhotra’s clinical interest is in multimodality cardiac imaging, with emphasis on appropriate use for improving patient care His research interest is in imaging nonischemic cardiomyopathies and the use of imaging to determine risk of cardiac arrhythmogenesis. He directs the Cardiac Amyloidosis program at Cook County Health. Dr. Malhotra is a fellow of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology. He serves as a guest editor for the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology, and has been a faculty of the ASNC and the SNMMI scientific programs for many years. He is the President of the Eastern Great Lakes Chapter of the the SNMMI and serves on the Board of Directors of ASNC.
