Dr. Hahn is Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, and Chief Scientific Office of the Echo Core Lab at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation. She was appointed Director of Interventional Echocardiography in the Columbia Valve Center in 2011. Dr. Hahn has published over 200 articles on Echocardiography and has been on the writing committees for the following ASE recommendations/guidelines: “Guidelines for Performing a Comprehensive Transesophageal Echocardiographic Examination"; "Recommendations for Noninvasive Evaluation of Native Valvular Regurgitation"; "Guidelines for the Evaluation of Valvular Regurgitation After Percutaneous Valve Repair or Replacement" and “Guidelines for the Use of TransesophagealEchocardiography to Assist with Surgical Decision-Making in the Operating Room”. She participates as a primary or co-investigator in over 20 trials at Columbia University.
