Biography
Angela McInerney is an Interventional Cardiologist working in University Hospital Galway, Galway Ireland. Having completed her basic cardiology training in Ireland she then took up an Interventional Fellowship and research position at Hospital Clinico San Carlos, Madrid. During her fellowship she specialised in coronary interventions particularly complex coronary artery disease and subsequently did a fellowship in structural heart disease. She also undertook a number of research projects particularly pertaining to coronary calcium modification and intracoronary imaging and outcomes following TAVI. Her specialist interests are in complex coronary artery disease and percutaneous treatment of structural heart disease.
