Biography
Dr. Ștefan Busnatu is an interventional cardiologist, academic leader, and innovator in cardiovascular prevention and digital health, based in Bucharest, Romania. He serves as Prorector for Digitalization and Innovative Technologies at the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, where he leads institutional transformation in digital infrastructure, education, and research integration. Dr. Busnatu practices interventional cardiology at Bagdasar-Arseni Emergency Clinical Hospital and is the founder of Prevent Institute, a center dedicated to cardiovascular prevention, recovery, and lifestyle medicine. His clinical and research interests focus on preventive cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiometabolic risk, and the integration of genomics and digital technologies into personalized medicine.
