Dr Alon Shechter, MD MHA, has graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel. He then completed both his internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship at Rabin Medical Center, Petach Tikva, Israel. He now specializes in advanced adult echocardiography, and is a research fellow at Cedars-Sinai's Smidt Heart Institute, Los Angeles, CA, USA. Aside from his cardiology career, Dr Shechter is an Air Force physician and a qualified aviation medical examiner in Israel.
