Dr. Marco Centola is an extremely motivated and intellectually curious cardiologist. Currently, he is the Chief of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Department at Pio XI Hospital, Desio, Italy. He received his medical degree from Catholic University School of Medicine in Rome, graduating with highest honors. He completed his training in Cardiology at University of Milano-Bicocca in Milan in October 2006. He started his interventional cardiology training in 2009. He obtained Master's degree in Interventional Cardiology in 2011 with top marks. He has a strong background in cardiovascular medicine and clinical research. During his professional experiences, he attended the Johns University Hopkins of Baltimore (USA) as a Research Post Doc Fellow. He is enthusiastic and able to work in harmony with colleagues. He loves swimming and sailing. He got his boating license in 2010.
