Michael A. Gatzoulis, MD, PhD, Academic Head of CHD and PAH, Clinical Lead for ACHD at the Royal Brompton and Professor of Cardiology at Imperial College, London. Professor Gatzoulis has published extensively (> 440 peer-reviewed papers, including papers in the NEJM, Lancet and Circulation) and edited/co-edited 10 textbooks including the “Diagnosis and Management of Adult Congenital Heart Disease”, 3rd Edition. Professor Gatzoulis runs one of the world’s largest training programs in ACHD. His research focus has been on mechanisms and prevention of heart failure and SCD and management of PAH.
