Professor Lino Manuel Goncalves

He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the BioMed Alliance (2021–2026). Since 2018, he has served as Director of the Department of Cardiology at the Coimbra Local Health Unit (ULS de Coimbra). Since 2011, he has been a Full Professor of Cardiology and a member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Portuguese Journal of Cardiology (2016–2019) and President of the Portuguese Society of Cardiology (2021–2023). He currently serves as President of the College of Cardiology of the Portuguese Medical Association. He was Co-Director of the Harvard Medical School–Portugal Program in Translational Research and Information (2012–2022). He serves as a reviewer for twelve international peer-reviewed scientific journals with an established impact factor.
