Professor Pawel Mariusz Gasior

Assistant Professor at Division of Cardiology and Structural Heart Diseases, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. Completed cardiology specialization and interventional cardiology certification at Upper Silesian Medical Center of the Medical University of Silesia in 2022. Concluded preclinical fellowship focusing on evaluation of new technologies in interventional cardiology at Skirball Center for Innovation, Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York (2014-2016). Honored with multiple awards, including “One of the 100 most talented young Polish scientists” in 2019 from the Foundation for Polish Science. Served as a member of ESC Board Committee for Young Cardiovascular Professionals (2020-2022), co-chair of EAPCI New Initiatives for Young Interventionalists Committee (2020-2022) and member of EAPCI Young Committee (2024-2026). Research interests include intravascular imaging, coronary physiology, complex interventions, preclinical evaluation of new coronary devices.
