Interventional Cardiologist and Assistant director of Cardiology Department, Nicosia General Hospital. My duties include Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) including Primary PCI and complex coronary interventions, transcatheter structural heart interventions (TAVI, mitral and tricuspid valve transcatheter edge to edge repair and ASD/PFO closure). I have studied medicine in the Medical School of National Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed my training in Cardiology in hospitals of Greece and Cyprus. My PhD topic was “Associations of MTHFR mutations and hyperhomocysteinemia in young men with myocardial infarction”. I was a fellow in Interventional Cardiology in Leeds General Infirmary, in 2010-2011, after winning a training grant awarded by the EAPCI of the European Society of Cardiology. I am a Scientific collaborator of the Medical School of University of Cyprus, an instructor and course director of the European Resuscitation Council for the Advance Life Support (
